Bridge Over

design: Michael DiTullo

A statement bridge design worthy of the future of Portland. We love this bridge design by Michael DiTullo, Design Director at Converse, submitted to PORT’s Bridge Design contest. It’s a vision of the light rail and pedestrian bridge Metro is planning to build to span the Willamette sending a MAX line SE out to the suburbs.  This is the kind of vision, in low- to no-stakes contests…that invite serious responses (most interestingly from a designer like DiTullo), that are going to shape the kind of Portland we want to live in.
