Introducing: Lady Tie!

Jen Davison and Lady Tie!

New accessory category alert: it’s not a scarf, not a tie, it’s a Lady Tie. A little polished snap for the ladies, the Lady Tie launches this weekend with a booth at Crafty Wonderland, 11-4 PM at the Doug Fir Lounge. The Lady Tie’s a scaled down version of a men’s tie (but reversible) crafted from vintage fabrics (lots of cute mini-florals) by graphic designer Jen Davison and jewelry designer R. Gail Wick. Davison calls it, “an iconic symbol of confidence and professionalism.” !!

Soon the website will have how-to-tie illustrations. (Soon, too, on Etsy.) For now, you’re best bet is to head to Crafty Wonderland this weekend. It’s little, but it’s going to be big. Here’s predicting the Lady Tie is going to be for Davison and Wick what the guitar strap was for Wendy Martin of Built by Wendy. Tie one on.
