Good: fashion show with looks drawn from designers represented in Nordstrom’s Via section like 3.1 Philip Lim, Hanni Y, Lavender Label Vera Wang, M Missioni, McGinn, Milly, and Tracey Reese.
Better: fashion show + performance by contemporary dance titan Gregg Bielemeier. Bielemeier and friends will perform slices from an upcoming piece commissioned by White Bird for the December White Bird Uncaged series.
Better Still: it all goes down in the awesome Brad Cloepfil-designed timbered atrium at the Wieden+Kennedy Building (224 NW 13th Avenue).
Best of all: the evening benefits one of our favorite arts institutions the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (PICA).
Via The Runway is tomorrow night, September 27, from 6:30-10 with fashion show at 7 PM. Tickets are $100 and can be had at the door.
