Big news from Entermodal. Larry Olmstead and crew are packing up necessary bits of Entermodal’s Pearl District studio and taking it on the road, doing temporary pop-up factories inside boutiques in Portland and New York in the coming months. “Factory” here has to mean Warhol rather than Zhejiang, as you’ll be able to check out how Entermodal uses age-old leatherworking techniques to create the modern bags of veg-tanned Italian leather that Olmstead designs. We get ours first, as Entermodal sets up a pop-up factory at Olio United at the end of August to time with their anniversary, then they’re off to New York to set up a pop-up factory inside Odin.
