Tonight, Friday, April 25 at 7:30 PM, the excellent Xtabay (2515 SE Clinton) Vintage hosts a trunk show for Jess McCloskey’s jewelry line, Paper Treasure. Here’s your chance to see the new pieces McCloskey made for the Mercury’s recent Spring Fashion Show up close. Created from an amalgam of vintage and recycled elements, in past each piece has been charmingly named after a shipwreck, the perfect nostalgic stroke, suggesting too the past lives of charm, chain, and locket incorporated in the work.
