Pure hopefulness, this new piece by Portland artist Stephanie Simek is a glimpse of sunwarmed days ahead. She’s drilled tiny holes in a pearlized Turbo Cinereus shell so that it will sprinkle a light dusting of silver (or gold) mineral powder when it’s tapped. Picture this creating glow somewhere between clavicle and sternum worn with a rough and tumble tank. And we love the detail of the miniature sterling silver funnel attached to the clasp so that you can refill the cork-stoppered shell.
WHAT TO DO NOW?
