John Burroughs From Anna Korte

Some of the lovely pieces of Anna Korte’s latest collection are inspired by and named after bits of poems by American nature essayist, John Burroughs. From his book of collected poems, Bird and Bough, the Portland-based jewelry designer takes names like “woodland lovers” and “the feathered lyrist” for her pieces that include vintage elements: charms, chain, and now, pieces of kid leather from antique gloves. In Portland, find her work at Seaplane (827 NW 23rd) and Hot Box Betty (1623 NE 15th).
