Well, they ship all over, but they’re located right here in Portland at SE 8th and Clay. Look Modern has 7000 sq. ft. of mid-century (50s-70s) mostly Swedish and Danish ceramics, furniture, and objects. They’re open weekends only. We just like to look at the pictures. Mmm.

59 seconds long. Include the number 59 in the content of the video. Those are the criteria for entry in to the 59 Seconds Video Festival. Tonight, Sunday, December 16 at 7 PM in its new location, Gallery Homeland (SE Division and 11th at the Ford Bldg) is hosting the 59 Seconds Video Festival. The NY-based project collects 59 second work through open calls “until the final collection of the best 59 videos has been selected with help of national and international audiences during a series of 59 screenings. A collection of 59 select videos, 59 seconds each by 59 international
artists, shown 59 times around the globe is the ultimate goal of 59 Seconds Festival.” Microdocumentary, experiment, narrative, elongated metaphor…. 59.
