We love this chunky hat with earflaps from Precious by Laura Irwin (and many of its knit cousins) that can be found at Seaplane (827 NW 23rd).

Our nomination for best name for a hat label or for that matter any apparel company at all is Heating and Cooling whose smart caps will be available at Crafty Wonderland’s massive upcoming December 16 sale at Norse Hall.

Elizabeth Rohloff has a number of her hats at the Art Institute’s students and staff sale. Knot Ugly has updated their beanie/cloche with a new mini-brim in cashmere, and Woolie Originals does reconstructed hats with knit applique, available at Noun: a person’s place for things and Mink. And of course, Dayna Pinkham’s Pinkham Millinery should not be missed.
