The Eastside’s independent style beacon, Local35 (3556 SE Hawthorne) kicks out the jams for its fourth anniversary with a party featuring DJ COPY (!!!), Arnold Pander painting all night (and celebrating release of the Pander Bros. new graphic novel Accelerate) Thursday night, November 8 starting at 7 PM. Local35 has built a v. v. good mix of local (Monsieur T, Hecklewood, dbClay), international, J.Lindeberg and raries like Nudie and Surface to Air.
So you’ll not only find the Pander Bros., you’ll find Widmer Bros. (Brewing), plus the latest from Orthodox, Brown Sound, Corpus, and Yoko Devereaux ties. The shop will be closed all day Thursday (for rebranding and party prep), then reopen at 7 PM for the party.
An Anniversary sale will start on Friday, November 9th and continue through Sunday.
