Gadgets, Gear and Ergonomic Greatness at DWR

Love it, talk about it, do it better. It’s industrial design night at Design Within Reach (1200 NW Everett) a week from Thursday on November 8, 6:30-9 PM.

DWR Portland has partnered with the Art Institute of Portland  and IDSA to bring Knoll Inc’s Director of Research, Strategy and Media, Tracy Wymer, to talk about industrial design, past, present, and future. Very good. But what’s even better is that after the presentation, the audience will break into groups to brainstorm solutions for organizing, “our ever-increasing number of personal digital devices into a streamlined command center using a limited number of materials provided, including textiles supplied by Knoll.” Like to see some of the results of that exercise.
