A glimpse of everything but the runway, Sunday night at Portland Fashion Week. Portland still turned out in droves on a Sunday night for Michelle Decourcy, Emily Katz, IDOM, Leanimal, and Stewart + Brown.
We’ve got it down now, getting to the shipyard on Swan is as easy as hitting Broder for brunch. Say hi to the gentlemen in the guardhouse (note: security level 1, yellow, a the moment), marvel at more steel than we’ve ever laid eyes on, pass men in yellow hardhats who are amused at the whole thing, “We don’t get many things like this out here.” Into the Vigor Industrial building, up a flight of stairs, and showtime (almost)…it’s still surreal, but in a very good way.
