If you don’t already have tickets for the super hot fashion show fundraiser for our fave contemporary arts institution, here’s an added incentive: Not only will PICA’s Runway to Rooftop event feature runway looks from 3.1 Phillip Lim, Milly, Chaiken, Tracy Reese, M Missoni (all from Nordstrom’s via C department) on sensational models, we’ve just heard that dancer and choreographer Mike Barber is doing a special edition of Ten Tiny Dances, the series of dance performances he curates for which dancers do pieces on a 4×4-foot stage! Margretta Hansen (perennially a standout in the Ten Tiny lineup with her fierce post-ballet contemporary dance), Summer Morgan, and OH MY GOD Moon Patrol!!? Do eyes deceive? A b-boy crew in four square feet?
Runway to Rooftop is this Saturday, October 6 from 6:30-10:00 PM with the runway show at 7 at the Wieden+Kennedy Building (224 NW 13th). Tickets are $100.
