Portland Fashion Week Model Call

Hello, lovely. Portland Fashion Week needs you. They’re doing an open call for models this Saturday, September 15 at Smith Center| Multicultural Center at Portland State University in Room 228.

What are they looking for? Female models sizes 0-6, 5′8″-6′0″ and male models 5′10″- 6′2″. From 4:30-5:30 PM they’ll see unsigned and amateur models (so, if you’re not with an agency, this would be you) and from 6-8 PM, they’ll see agency models. In Tod Foulk’s note to us about this, there were a number of exclamation points and “ONLY”s in capital letters indicating that hopefuls must come at the time specified without exception. Bring photo identification, and if you’re a minor, bring a parent or legal guardian.

    I am 5′11″ and size 6. I have big eyes and a European look. I have modeled once in the Portland Bridle Show in January and loved it! I have a positive attitude and want to model clothing because I love! My hope is to have fun, make friends and connections that I otherwise would have not made. Thank you for your consideration!! :)

    We don’t have any info on a call for models for this year’s PFW yet. If we hear anything, we’ll post a note about it.

    By chance did anyone go to the fashion show for the kids fashion camp and notice the drunk mc byron beck and what he said. a girl was modeling her creation and she had darker skin and he goes looks like this one is from mexico! we almost walked out.

    Last year there was a wonderful girl at Design Camp who came all the way from Mexico City. The two girls happen to look a lot alike. Byron, who was the mc in 2007, made an unfortunate and innocent error. The campers and parents of last year knew what had happened right away.
