Tonight: Lulic/Kreider At The Cooley Gallery

Opening tonight at the Douglas F. Cooley Memorial Art Gallery at Reed College is an exhibition that is a collaboration between the Cooley and PICA’s Time-Based Art Festival. Two artists, Viennese artist Marko Lulic and Peter Kreider from Brooklyn show work in this show co-curated by the Cooley’s Stephanie Snyder and PICA’s Kristan Kennedy. We’re particularly interested in seeing Lulic’s work as Snyder says the artist examines Modernist art and architecture with models, installations, and even film.
Tonight, Wednesday, September 5 at 6 PM, the opening reception for the show also serves as a kind of pre-opening for PICA’s TBA Festival AND a grand re-opening for the Cooley that has been closed for renovations. The show runs through December 9.
