Foundation Garments’ (2712 NE Alberta) Cement Mixer is this evening, August 24 from 6-9 PM. The event supports the Portland Sweatfree Campaign whose aim is to encourage the city of Portland to set purchasing policies that are ethical and sweatshop free.
Portland-based independent designers Leanimal, Paperdoll, Layers squared, Mizu Desierto, and Erhart have created garments for the event that are available for preview online and will be sold at the event with 50% of the sale of these dresses will go directly to the portland sweatfree campaign, as well 15% of all other sales for the evening
