For ten years now, Kim Lane’s The Bee and Thistle (soon to be at 120 NW Tenth) has been in a semi-secret location on the upper Westside on Westover. No more. Now, in a one-two punch, the accessibly-priced, on-trend emporium relocates to the Pearl District and launches a men’s department. The August 23 grand re-opening runs from 4-8 PM with a menswear fashion show at 6 PM, in-store specials, and special drinks from Be Zinful.
But for the next week or so, you can score at the old locations of both The Bee and Thistle and The Bargain Bee (Lane’s own outlet store) at 2330 NW Westover where you’ll find huge markdowns with sale prices starting under a five-spot for denim, tops, bags, and shoes. The sale runs through August 15 when The B & T closes for its big move.
