    I think I have great style, but I’ve never been shot. Where are you at Ultra Pdx?!! =]

    I’m disappointed to see the lack of “city chic” in this city (I am not targeting the pretty ladies in this picture) .. there’s just way too much alternative, urban outfitter wearing, thrift store junkies in our city who think they have style because they look different from the rest of the cargo shorts, sport sunglasses, and columbia/northface denali jacket wearers in the northwest.

    The Northwest needs to step it up! And I mean northwestern region of the US, not NW 23rd/Nob Hill, etc.

    Also, there’s very little technique or thought put into the photos of these street style posts. It makes everything blend together and doesn’t make the outfit or the person pop! Check out hel-looks.com, http://www.style-arena.jp, and of course the notorious Sartorialist for some amaazzing street shots.

    Hi Cecilia,
    Thanks for your feedback. Actually, our Street Style Editor, Charlotte, puts a lot of thought into the photos. It’s tougher than you might think to find the stylish, get them to consent to pose, etc. Charlotte also welcomes submissions of photos from ultra readers.

    Hello Cecilia,

    I appreciate your feedback as well. As the Streetstyle section is fairly new to Ultra we are still trying to work out some kinks. I am dissapointed to hear that you don’t think that much thought went into the photos, but I agree that there are technical aspects that need to be sharpened. I believe I have solved that problem - and you’ll see evidence of that in upcoming photos featured here.

    I appreciate as well your suggestion of other streetstyle sites. I am familliar with all of these, but our readers may not be and its always interesting to get a look at fashion in other cities and around the world. You might also like Face Hunter, my personal favourite, and Pike & Pine, from Seattle.
