ring. Magma by Blake van Roekel

Every Thursday through August, Portland-based jewelry designer Blake Van Roekel is placing a glass charm near the obelisk at the T of SW Park Place in Washington Park. Van Roekel recently broke her own favorite magma ring on a wild ride on a Washington Park teeter totter with her sister. She loved the bright orange glass ring so much she couldn’t toss it, so she left the broken chunk as a charm for someone else to find on a brick wall nearby thus inspiring her current project.

Meanwhile, if you’d rather procure your magma jewels the traditional way, you can find them online.

    Hi Tasha,
I just spoke with Blake. They’re available at her showroom or by custom order. Just email her at blake@magmajewels.com.
