Our favorite tween, the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, celebrates its 12th birthday Wednesday, July 18 from 8 PM to 2 AM at Holocene (1001 SE Morrison) with Panther, Plastic Little, and DJ Copy. When we make a list of what we love about Portland, PICA’s on it. So we’ll be there celebrating a perfect dozen. If you don’t yet know and love PICA (say, if you’re new to town), you’ll get to know them through and through come this year’s Time-Based Art Festival in September. Consider this party to be a little introduction…with a little flirting and maybe holding hands.
