Art + Waffles=Overkill (In A Good Way)

What is already a beautifully designed space (and purveyor of waffles) is going into Overkill mode today and tomorrow (and for the next month). In the old Portland Art Center space on SE Belmont, waffle cafe, Jace Gace is issuing the openest open call ever. For their show “Overkill” Jason et al are inviting any and all Portland artists and designers to bring artwork to Jace Gace (2045 SE Belmont) today, Monday July 9th, and Tuesday July 10th, from 8 AM to 8 PM only.  You bring up to three pieces of two dimensional work (up to 6′ x6′) ready to hand and they’ll take it, turning you away only when the walls are full.

Want to see the result? We do too. The opening reception is Thursday, July 12th, 6 PM to midnight.
