Leanimal by Leanne Marshall Spring 07

ultra’s latest point of view photo editorial shot by Portland-based photographer Josh Elliott is Leanimalia featuring a preview of the Fall 07 collection from Leanimal, Leanne Marshall’s women’s ready-to-wear line.

Marshall’s innovative shapes created by pleating, gathering, bubbled hems, faux ascots and collars around fit bodices are among the more distinctive in Portland. While her work nods to other Portland designers like Emily Ryan, the San Francisco FIDM-trained fashion designer now based in Portland is cutting her own path.
