This Space Left Intentionally Blank

Blank

Most anticipated art opening for May: In collaboration with aquaspace and Drain magazine Tilt Gallery and Project Space (625 NW Everett) opens “Blank – Exploring Nothing,” a group exhibition curated by Tilt artist Avantika Bawa. Tonight is the reception, 6-9 PM, and tomorrow Bawa gives a talk about “Blank” at 7 PM.

The works in Blank accept then address and confront the scope of emptiness, nothingness and voids. They do so on varying levels, with a sense of intimacy, poetic beauty, total fear, or an obnoxious confrontation. [They] bring together diverse sensibilities that offer visually (and aurally) quieter and conceptually louder responses to the seemingly excessive and overwhelming.
