It takes a lot to get us out of Portland…a sculpture park in Seattle, an osprey above a basalt cliff at the lake.
A restaurant that looks like this would do it. This—the backlit cloud ceiling, the blue-plate wall in the private dining room, the red, red lounge, and yet another dramatic bar from the minds of Skylab—is Sinju in the Bridgeport shopping center in Tigard. When you factor in Sinju’s sushi, a southward-bound culinary adventure seems like an excellent idea.
