When ultra contributor Carissa Wodehouse went into Relish over the weekend to buy these ceramic pieces she’d been ogling for months, made by Portland-based designer, Leah Nobilette, she discovered that she’s not the only one who’s taken with Nobilette’s spiky wonders. Turns out, according to Wodehouse, “that Oprah just bought out the whole collection—30 pieces total excluding the remaining bowls on display—for O Magazine and use on the set of her television show.” The multitasking Nobilette is a local part-time teacher who also works at Starbucks on the side for the health care. “She makes each spike with a squeezable diner-style ketchup bottle, the kind with the pointy tip. ” Go Leah!
