“First Annual”s are always so hopeful…implying that this event will live to ride another year after year after year. So it is, full of hope that we look forward to the “First Annual” Fir Fest at the Doug Fir at the Jupiter Hotel. The Fir Fest, a “springtime neighborhood courtyard celebration”, highlights a lot of what goes on underground in the Doug Fir every evening and weekend, music, fashion, special events like Crafty Wonderland, but brings it all up into the courtyard, the balconies, and presents it all free. Oh Baby! Lingerie and Sameunderneath are going to do a combined fashion show (urbanwear meets underwear of the highest order) with live music by Liv Warfield. Dirty Martini and Clampitt Gaddis and Buck perform. And the gals from Crafty Wonderland are ringing in with a special edition outdoor bazaar. The Fir Fest is April 21 beginning at 4 PM (through 9 PM).
