New news from Basic Rights Oregon on their fashion show fundraiser, Strut, the 2007 edition. First up, the date has changed to Friday May 11th, the Wonder Ballroom is again the venue. More importantly for the overall design value of the event, makelike–the Topher Sinkinson/Mary Kysar design studio–has signed on to do creative direction for the event.
The producers are still accepting submissions from Portland-based apparel designers who might like to show (just sent two images of your work with company name, phone, description, and list of who carries your work to StrutPDX@gmail.com).
