PDX designers head north for this showcase of independent designers

Thread is a hybrid, a cross between a giant one-day indie boutique and a trade show showcasing independent designers and smaller lines. The idea seems to be that independent designers are given new audience for their work, the large percentage of which is made up of customers with cash in hand. Thread started in San Diego and has expanded to Bristol (UK) and Seattle. This weekend, a number of PDX-area designers make the trip north to show at Thread Seattle on Sunday, November 5 from 11-6 at Fremont Studios (155 North 35th Street, Seattle). a broken spoke (John Blasioli), No Star Clothing, Bonnie Heart Clyde, DarBeka, Jophiel Design, and MiMo all represent alongside designers from San Francisco, San Diego, LA, and more.
