Hecklewood’s Tanner line of leather goods hits PDX more than a month before its official launch!

The line is not officially released until November 1, but Hecklewood’s Tanner line of leather goods is available in Portland. Portrait and landscape versions of the messenger bag and cardholder wallets are at OFFICE, Blue, Local.35, and Hecklewood (2431 NW Thurman). With a kind of roughed up refinement—Oregon Leather stitched by a saddlemaker and branded with the Tanner logo—the bags are serious tools for getting your goods from here to there in style. And as Hecklewood Creative Director Sam Huff points out, over time you’ll break in your Tanner—like your favorite pair of raw denim jeans, time and use will develop its unique character.

Plus, Huff tells us that he has samples in hand for Tanner goods for ladies as well. “We have a bifold wallet and handbag that are styled similiar to the rest of our products, but feature exotic animal print hides on the side/bottom panels….it looks really hot, and is only visible when looking at the bag in profile view.”
Because the Hecklewood online store in undergoing major renovations, the goods are available for pre-order (for non-PDXers) via email at info@hecklewood.com
