Perhaps you haven’t been in to the ‘box in a while. Perhaps you’ve had your eyes closed and have missed notice of this upcoming DJ series. Perhaps it’s time for a trip to 214 SW Broadway…especially if you’ve yet to see one of the more fetching additions to our list of PDX neon faves: the cute monkeys climbing the Saucebox sign. (We’re bullish on neon).
The We Aren’t Deejays Tuesday night series features high profilers like musicians Stephen Malkmus and Sean Croghan, Gus Van Sant (currently casting Paranoid Park), Plazm editor and novelist (Half-Life), Jon Raymond, and we’re super excited about foxy siblings Heather Larimer and brother Nick who together are Eux Autres with a new-ish French retro-pop album out.
