PORT bash
ultra ?’s PORT and you should too if you care a whit about the visual arts in Portland. Far from the it’sallgood-isms, PORT sets a bar for artists, institutions, curators, and critics in Portland and then hikes it up a notch. And the blog format, allowing for comments, makes it an equally chatty and gritty forum for some of the movers and, more importantly, thinkers in the art-o-sphere. motel gallery’s Jennifer Armbrust, critic/curator Jeff Jahn, artist/critic Katherine Bovee lit the fire, Isaac Peterson jumped in, and more recently the force behind one of our fave newer galleries, Jenene Nagy, (Tilt) has been contributing. It’s Portland-centric visual arts news and criticism at its finest.
