This just in. Akiva Resnikoff has somehow found time between designing jewelry and running a new mag to direct a fashion show. His Sedition Magazine, Garment, and Rake Art Gallery (325 NW 6th) are putting on The Stitch featuring regional designers, on Friday, June 16 at 9 PM (doors open at 
at Rake. There’s a $10 admission which also buys you a drink.
Expect designers drawn from the Garment (4136 SE Hawthorne) ranks as well as J. Calderon, Darbeka, and Stephan Alexander with Jewelry by Akiva and shoes provided by SOLE.
Sedition Magazine is a free Arts and Culture Quarterly based in Portland that is co-sponsoring Mark Woolley’s Sedition show at the Guestroom and has apparently released one issue thus far.
