Compound Concoction
Katsu Tanaka is the kind of guy who makes things happen. His Just Be/Compound shop and gallery in Old Town is a haven for toys, sneaks, designed goods, and urban art. And now, Tanaka has curated a hands-across-the-water exhibition of emerging US and Japanese artists.
Opening tomorrow night, Friday April 21 with a reception from 6 to 9 PM, Compound Concoction showcases work by more than a dozen emerging artists at the Guestroom Gallery (128 NE Russell) under the Wonder Ballroom. Artists include Cicci & Sally, Momoyon, Anyuu Rizumu, Erik Sandberg, Akira Wakui, Yugo Fugita, Kazumi Ozaki, Shin Tanaka, ZanPon, Evan B. Harris, Kosuke Ikeda, and Re:Verse. The show runs April 21 to May 27.
