Burwell at Ivy
Hey, what are you doing later? It’s First Friday, the Eastside answer to First Thursday which was hopping yesterday. Tonight Ivy Studio (800 E Burnside) at the Jupiter Hotel opens an art show-meets-fire-sale of work by Guy Burwell, the illustrator you have to thank for ubiquitous, idiosyncratic Doug Fir posters. Ivy will have the four p’s of the backstock of Burwell: prints, posters, paintings, and products (t’s &c.). DJ DREWGROOVE brings the noise at the reception from 7-9 PM.
