A fundraising concept conceived by artist Stephen Hayes, Prints for PICA is a daylong artmaking marathon in which local artists make prints that are sold on the spot with proceeds to benefit PICA. This third edition of PFP goes down this Saturday, December 17, from 4-9 PM at Studio 333 ( 333 NE Hancock @MLK). Whose work are we interested in seeing? Well, among the 50 or so artists who will be rotating in and out of the studio, we’re looking forward to seeing what Katherine Bovee & Philippe Blanc, Brad Adkins, Rachel Allen, Ty Ennis, and Harrel Fletcher come up with. At the same time, we can’t wait to see what PICA’s Kristan Kennedy and the Reed College Cooley Gallery’s Stephanie Snyder get up to. According to PICA, prints range in price from $100-250.
