Four of Portland’s entrepreneurial DIYers have set aside their own crafty businesses for a minute to put together Super Crafty, a new book with 75 projects and articles in its 304 pages.
Tuesday, October 18 at 8 PM at the Doug Fir, meet the ladies behind the book: Lucky Loo Loo’s Rachel O’Rourke, Torie Nguyen, designer of Tonitette, Susan Beal–the Susan behind Susan Stars and new wife of brilliant performance artist Andrew Dickson, and Cathy Pitters of Bossanova Baby. Dickson’s alter-persona AC Dickson will host the eve with music by Millions of Birds, Roy Tinsel and Rebecca Pearcy (Queen Bee!). There will be a raffle, craft projects (of course) and books! Hurrah for the home team! Show them some love.
