We have to admit that we have generally passed on the Last Thursday festivities on Alberta, but we make exceptions. This Thursday from 6-9, Frock (2940 NE Alberta Street) is marking down all of their wacky vintage wonders by 25%. And they already have the most reasonably priced indie costume jewelry in town.
If that’s not enough to drag you through the fire-spinners and artisans, the new restaurant and bar, Zaytoon at 2236 NE Alberta should do the trick. This beautiful space opened Saturday night with an invite-only opening where we ran into artists, filmmakers, fashion entrepreneurs, poets and friends from the Northwest Film Center and Literary Arts…a good mix in a good space.
